Well, I have to agree, that was pretty stupid! Fortunately, most if not all absorption packets are non-toxic. This is because people have been known to accidentally eat it. All this will do is dehydrate you. This is why your throat is sore because it is drying up all the mucus and water in the throat. You need to drink plenty of fluids. The diarrhea will pass on its own. Do not delay in forcing fluids. Diarrhea tends to dehydrate the body too. If symptoms do not improve withing 2-3 hours, go see a doctor.
